HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY SESSION?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before treatments to enjoy our relaxation areas.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE SPA?
Simply come as you are. Upon your arrival, you will receive a plush spa
robe and sandals to change into. Although a locker will be provided for
your personal belongings, we ask that you not bring valuables to the
spa. We are not held accountable for any missplaced items.
MUST I DISROBE COMPLETELY FOR MY SPA SERVICES?
As a matter of comfort and simplicity, most guests prefer to undress
completely before putting on their spa robes. Our professional spa
staff is specially trained to drape you with linens for modesty during
your treatment.
IS IT APPROPRIATE TO ASK MY THERAPIST TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS FOR MY COMFORT?
Absolutely. This is your treatment, and we encourage you to communicate
with your therapist regarding room temperature, pressure and technique
to ensure optimal comfort and benefit. We also invite you to discuss
specific preferences with your spa staff at the time you schedule your
appointment. This will help your coordinator select the therapist who
will best meet your needs and make your spa experience exceptional.
MAY I REQUEST A MALE OR FEMALE THERAPIST?
Of course. Rest assured that every Sanctuary Spa of Saratoga Springs
therapist is respectful of your privacy and will drape the areas of
your body that are not involved in the treatment.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I TIP FOR MY SPA SERVICE?
Gratuity amount is at your discretion.
I’D LIKE TO SCHEDULE SEVERAL SPA TREATMENTS IN ONE DAY. IS THERE A SUGGESTED ORDER?
Yes. And our day packages are specially designed with this in mind. Our
reservation staff will be glad to answer your questions and make
recommendations regarding the order of your pampering treatments.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF TREATMENTS I SHOULD PLAN IN A DAY?
You can have as many treatments as time allows. Our spa staff will
suggest the best order for the treatments you have in mind.
SHOULD I AVOID THE SPA IF I AM PREGNANT?
No, not at all. However, we do recommend that you inform our spa coordinator of your pregnancy. During pregnancy we recommend that you avoid treatments with extreme heat and excessive pressure. If you have any questions please feel free to ask our coordinators and they will anwser any and all of your questions.
WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS?
If you have high blood pressure, allergies or physical disabilities, or
if you are pregnant, please discuss this with our spa coordinators when making your appointment. If you have any other health conditions, question or
concerns, please let us know. For your comfort and safety, we recommend
that you not consume any alcoholic beverages during your spa visit or
immediately before or after your treatments.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24
hours in advance. Unfortunately, we must charge 100% of reserved
services for failure to keep your appointment if 24 hour notice is not
given. All spa package appointments require a 48 hour notice of
cancellation or rescheduling.
